Intent to Lien Letters

Back
Many states require that a contractor who wishes to claim a lien against a property first must notify the owner and/or lender of the intent to claim the lien. This is done with an Intent to Lien Letter and certain states may require that specific language appear in this letter.

Easy Law's staff will conduct on-line research in an effort to confirm the correct entity status, individual, corporate, partnership, etc., name, and address of parties that must receive the Intent to Lien Letter, and prepare and send the letter. This service is not available in every state and does not include outside investigation services.
